Amazon affiliate programme

At first sight these links are like any other link, but they lead to a product that can be bought. The seller of that product pays a commission if the user who arrives from the link takes a certain action, whether just clicking, subscribing, making a purchase, and so on.

On CABANEROS.ORG we only use Amazon affiliate links for our products. We use no other kind of link. Amazon pays us a small commission if a user buys a product through the link we provide. This happens for some products, not all, and the commission varies according to Amazon. The truth is that we ourselves do not know how much we will earn on each product until someone decides to buy, and then Amazon tells us how much, or whether it has decided that product carries no commission.

What does this mean for you, the end user?

All of this happens  without the final price going up for you. The seller simply accepts that it pays part of its profit to the affiliated website in exchange for reaching an audience it would not, in principle, have been able to reach.

The only way we use this kind of link on this website is to show products that meet the requirements for belonging to the category where the product is advertised.

At no point are we telling you from this website that the products shown in the categories are better than others on the market, only that we like them and that we have classified them under those conditions.

It may happen on pages that are not categories, such as reviews or comparison articles, where we want to analyse a product or products to recommend the best of them to the user.

Our moral commitment is to bring you products that consumers may like, regardless of price: we do not bring you dearer products because we take a percentage, quite the opposite; if we find several identical products we will always try to show you the cheapest option.

All the affiliate links point to Amazon Spain (amazon.es), which is in Spanish. If you live in another country, check the shipping costs there before you buy.
